Depuis 1849, la Maison Molinard incarne une vision libre et exigeante du métier de parfumeur. Un geste fondateur, fidèle à sa conviction : partager l’art du parfum au plus grand nombre.Ces ateliers s’inscrivent dans l’histoire d’une Maison pionnière, marquée par des créations emblématiques telles que Habanita (1921), premier parfum oriental féminin, et par une tradition d’innovation constante. Aujourd’hui encore, héritage et création dialoguent pour donner naissance à des fragrances et des expériences authentiques et personnelles.

The instructor was not friendly, at all...she did not even introduce herself; it was very cold atmosphere and quite strict, she also disappeared at least 4 times to attend to customers downstairs in boutique, will not recommend, maybe in Grasse it's a better and more authentic experience, the only good part was to be there with my friends.

On that day, our perfume expert was alone in the boutique and did her very best to accompany you throughout the experience, including allowing additional time for the different stages of smelling and creating your fragrances. Regarding the moments when our expert briefly stepped away, we understand that this may have given you the impression of a lack of attention. However, these moments are actually an intentional and important part of our workshop process. During the smelling phase, we give participants some time on their own to discover the different essences and make their choices freely, without being influenced by our expert. This step is essential to our approach, as it allows each participant to follow their own impressions and preferences. Our expert then uses these choices to guide the creation of an Eau de Parfum that reflects each person's individual tastes and personality. Your feedback is nevertheless very valuable to us and helps us continue to improve the welcome and guidance we provide during our workshops. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again at Molinard and provide you with an experience that better meets your expectations.

Overall, the experience was very nice and interesting — the workshop itself was wonderful, and I really enjoyed learning about the process of creating perfumes. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the activity was a lovely idea for a birthday celebration.
However, the only downside was that the lady who was assisting us seemed quite busy with other clients, so we had to wait for some time before she could help us. It was a bit disappointing, especially since it was a special day for us.
Booking the workshop was easy, and everything else went smoothly. Despite this small inconvenience, I would still recommend the Moulinnard perfume workshop to my friends, as it’s a unique and creative experience.

Quite entertaining experience, but we waited much more than expected
The girl was alone to manage the store (and make sales to visitors), and had to share her time between 3 workshops
Previous one was not finished when we started our, and she had to share her time with our workshop and another one
She couldn’t spent not much time with us to explain and answer our questions
She was very kind and helpful but the experience was a little bit impersonal
We waited for much more attention (regarding to the price we paid per person)
We think that Molinard has to dedicate one person per workshop so that the experience would be much more pleasant
As an improvement, you should have a film to show and explain the history of Molinard and the creation of perfumes, that should be a good amelioration of your customer care
Finally, I think that the Cannes worshop is not appropriate for this kind of event : not enough space, not enough comfortable, and not enough staff
We are quite ´disappointed ´of the experience

It was ok, not amazing for me. My daughter loved it!

I booked this mostly for my teenage daughter who had a lot of fun and loved it. For me it was just so so, not great. First when we arrived we were asked to sit in the main perfume shop where customers were coming to buy Molinard products. We heard people upstairs (a separate space from the main store), but we were told it was a different class there (that class pretty much ended within a few minutes from our start). So that was the first thing I did not like. I would have preferred to be in a separate space from the main store, in part because "our teacher" kept going to serve customers instead of staying with us at all time. Then we were asked to smell 50 different scents and select the ones we liked. We had to do this in under 20 minutes and select 3 categories of scents (top notes, heart notes and base notes), several scents in each category. This was overwhelming for me and at some point I was not capable of smelling anything anymore. I had to go outside to clear my nose. I think the whole shop was full of perfume smells and it was hard to distinguish what was what at some point. Anyway, in the end I got some help in choosing scents, but I don't think my final perfume defined me that much. Maybe this is not for everyone...personally I feel I would have needed much more time to select the proper scents. They kept telling me that the selection should be instantaneous, but it did not work for me. So I do not think I will attend another class like this. On the other hand, my daughter was ansolutely thrilled with everything about the class and she would do another one for sure.
